The District is a governmental sub-division of the State of Colorado authorized by and in compliance with Section 32-01-101 et seq., of the Colorado Revised Statutes. This special district was created in 1999 for the purpose to own, administer, and operate on a permanent basis the water augmentation plan and water distribution system installed for and provide water services to the residents of the Valley at Winter Park Subdivision.

The Valley at Winter Park Subdivision contains approximately 205 acres with 48 residential development lots, 59 acre open space, and 23 acres of road rights-of-way. By the end of 2022, fourteen of the 48 lots will have completed homes on them.

     The Valley at Winter Park Water District bills on a quarterly schedule:

          Quarter 1: January 1 - March 31

          Quarter 2: April 1 - June 30

          Quarter 3: July 1 - September 30

          Quarter 4: October 1 - December 31
